Part of the reason that fad diets don't work is because they focus solely on losing weight and not necessarily as much on teaching good habits to take care of our bodies. So we become trained in getting rid of the unwanted weight, but then struggle to maintain it.
By loving our bodies, we will choose to take care of them. By choosing to take care of our bodies, we will feel more confident to make the healthier choices. Confidence isn't about being skinny or the number on the scale, but rather about knowing that you are making YOU and your health a priority. By doing that you will feel and look good every day.
