On 9/11/14, I got the chance to meet actress Danielle Fishel.  She is most well known for her role as Topanga Lawrence on "Boy Meets World" and "Girl Meets World".  She came to a local bookstore in my area for a signing for her newest book "Normally This Would Be Cause For Concern:  Tales of Calamity and Unrenting Awkwardness".  

 

This book is a great read, because often we can let ourselves get caught up in seeing the perfection of people's lives through our social media newsfeed.  Danielle shows life isn't as perfect Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram reveal.  So she shares some of her embarrassing stories to explain that we all make mistakes.

 

As you're reading the book, you will notice that Danielle writes as if she's talking to you face to face.  She will make side comments and even jokes about thoughts she had when the story's event first happened.
